Hi everyone!! It's me Trudie!!
I have spent the week since my long trip resting up for my furever home.
My Fo Ma says I am the perfect little lady. I turned 9 this week, but as my chauffer said, 9 is the new 4!
I have spent my week here with 4 more just like me, and also 2 other little creatures. My Fo Ma says they are her kids and to be good to them. With my history of being a Mamma myself, I can relate. I am very good with them and enjoy getting lovin from them too.
I LOVE to be outside in the nice weather too. Running with the other greys here has been greyt.
But as much fun as I am having here, I'm ready to find my forever home.. Foster Parents are fun and all, but I need a family of my own.
I'll be at GHC on Saturday. Come on out and see me!

On the road again....
What? It's time to wake up already?
This chauffeur says we're more than halfway from Kansas to Maryland! I wonder what it's like there?
The chauffeur is enjoying being my chaperone, she says. I am polite, am housetrained, adapt well, and mind what she says. I also travel really well! I just curl up in the back on my bed and enjoy the ride.
If we go through something called a "drive-thru" I like to look out the window at the people I see, while they are looking out the window. They hand the chauffeur food and they tell me I'm pretty. That's very nice of them, I think, to give her food because I'm so pretty.
The chauffeur told me that once I get to Maryland that I'll have a chance to meet a potential forever family. I'm wondering what that is? Will there be snuggles there? Other Greyhounds? Soft beds?
I hope so! I'm dreaming of it all now....
I hope to see you soon!!
Love and XOXO!

On the Open Road
Howdy, I'm Trudie! Or you can call me Bambi, whichever you prefer. I'm almost 9 years, old, my birthday is this week in fact. But you know what they say, 9 is the new 4!!
I raced for a while and was pretty darn fast. And because of my great genetics and wonderful personality, I was chosen to be a mama dog! But now. I've been told I get to retire! Everyone in the kennel says I'm going to love it, but I don't know.....
Here I am in the car. The chauffeur says we're going to Maryland. I don't know what that is but she said I'll like it. There are comfy beds and snuggles there. That sounds pretty good to me because I like both!!
We were in the car a long time, just like the chauffeur said. So after a few minutes of back seat driving I settled down and got comfy. If all the beds in this Maryland place are like this, I'm going to love it!
After a lot of time in the car we got in this place called a hotel. Lots of people who were around it came to see me and wanted to pet me. Of course I let them and loved it. Many of them said they'd never seen a Greyhound before! Can you believe it??
This hotel was pretty cool. I sniffed around everywhere and even saw another Greyhound in what the chauffeur called a mirror! I don't know who that Greyhound was, but she was gorgeous and I was excited to meet her!!
After a hotel dinner, as promised, the chauffer and I snuggled. It was the best snuggling I've ever had!! Now I don't just like snuggles, I LOVE THEM!!! Then the chauffeur got me all comfy for sleepy time. Do you think there are even better snuggles waiting for me in Maryland (or Virginia, or Delaware)???
